A lot of realtors believe that clients may have an insurance agent or brokerage they already work with. This is not always the case, especially with first-time homeowners or people that are new to the area. In most cases, realtors leave that part of the loan up to the lender or buyer to figure out. The loan gets all the way to the closing, and then there might be an issue with DTI.
Once the realtor has an accepted offer and the loan process really gets started, our wish is that realtors will mention CAP Co to their clients. Even if they already have a company they work with, it never hurts to have a conversation with the client and give them a quote. It could be the difference between the client being able to close easily, or having to do unneeded work at the end of the loan process. The goal is to make the already stressful process as painless as possible. We pride ourselves on doing just that.
